Hello, everyone.

I’ve always been a firm believer that you can celebrate Valentine’s Day regardless of whether you’re in a romantic relationship with someone special or not. Love is love, right? Whether it’s a gang of your best friends, or simply close family, it’s an excuse to gather over good food and drink, and make a night of it! Love, after all, comes in many forms.

With that in mind, it’s time to get your thinking-cap on and start planning an unforgettable evening, whoever it’s with. This year, 14th February falls on a Tuesday, which is all the more reason to take a boring weeknight from ordinary to extraordinary.

As ever, I’ve got plenty to inspire the occasion in my farmshop, from food to gifts and flowers, so read on for my round-up of perfect accompaniments.

Who said romance is dead?

The black famar valentines day offer

Single and loving it

Relish your own company by hunkering down at home with a classic movie and a comforting meal on a weekend either side of Valentine’s Day. My convenient Sunday Roast For One, with a Mini Pork Roasting Joint, Mixed Vegetables, a bottle of Armas de Guerra Godello red wine and Plant-Based Brownies, is pure indulgence! Why not treat yourself to some dried flowers, too, just because? Just call it self-care…

For just you two

Nothing shows you care quite like breakfast in bed, so why not get the day off to a good start with my Valentine’s Breakfast Box, brimming with beautiful gourmet delights like Smoked Streaky Bacon, Black Pudding and Smoked Salmon? Luxurious but laid-back, it says ‘I love you’ without trying too hard, while there’s certainly enough to share. As if you needed a reason to get back into bed…

Alternatively, if neither of you are morning people (who is?!), it may be wise to wait unit the evening to celebrate. In which case, my Valentine’s Wine, Crisps & Meat Bundle is just the thing, packed with a selection of gourmet crisps (Sea Salt and Chardonnay Wine Vinegar flavour, anyone?), tangy Fennel & White Pepper Salami and a bottle of fruity Madeline Angevine wine. The perfect aperitif for toasting together.

For the galentine’s gathering

Gather the girls, crack open the wine, and tuck into our Charcuterie Tasting Box. It’s got everything you need to entertain with little to no effort at all, including Sloe & Garlic Wild Venison Salami, Dorset Chorizo Picante and Fennel & White Pepper Salami. Otherwise, if you fancy cooking up a storm for friends, the Gloriously Gluten Free box is packed full of goodies to surprise and delight, from Jerk Pork Sausages to Beef Steak Burgers. Catering to all dietary requirements, it’s a guaranteed crowd-pleaser.

For the loving family

Use Valentine’s Day as an excuse to revive the idea of that long-awaited family reunion. It doesn’t need to be stressful with the Stock Up Your Fridge Love Box, packed with plenty to go around, from Sausage Rolls to Wiltshire Chutney and Steak & Ale Pies. Then, simply get the beer and wine in, and you’re good to go!

So, show each other you care this Valentine’s Day, romantic, platonic, or otherwise!”
