We have combined tender chunks of prime British beef with a rich ale gravy to make our rich, deep pie mix. Next, we encase the mixture in handmade, flaky gluten free pastry, direct from our kitchens. This gluten free steak and ale pie is the perfect centrepiece to a terrific lunch or delightful dinner. Children and grown-ups love pies so they’re perfect for family meals. Serve with mashed potato, gravy and peas on the side.
We make our gluten free steak and ale pie with finest-quality gluten free flour from Doves Farm in Wiltshire. Like The Black Farmer, they have played a major role in making superb produce accessible to people whose diets can’t include wheat. As independent, British companies with a passion for excellent UK produce, we share many of the same values.
The Black Farmer gluten free steak and ale pie is made with the best-quality beef in the South West. Our free range cows feed on grass and lead happy lives in the great British countryside. We work with trusted, local farms to make sure we have the best breeds for the season. At every stage, we support traditional farming methods and encourage a sustainable and ethical approach to meat eating. The practices we promote, use and endorse reduce animal stress and lower food miles.
