Here’s a simple recipe and cooking instructions for pork loin chops:

  • 4 pork loin chops
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme (or your preferred herbs)
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth (or water)
  • Optional: Additional herbs and spices for seasoning

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). This recipe uses a combination of stovetop searing and oven baking for juicy and flavorful pork chops.
  2. Season the pork loin chops generously with salt and pepper on both sides. You can also add additional herbs and spices of your choice to enhance the flavor.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet or frying pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Once the oil is hot, add the seasoned pork chops to the pan. Sear them for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they develop a golden brown crust. This will help seal in the juices.
  5. Reduce the heat to medium and add the minced garlic and dried thyme to the pan. Stir them around and let them cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  6. Pour the chicken broth (or water) into the pan, and gently scrape any browned bits from the bottom of the pan. This will add extra flavor to the dish.
  7. Transfer the skillet or pan to the preheated oven. Bake the pork loin chops for about 15-20 minutes, or until they reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C). Cooking times may vary depending on the thickness of the chops, so it’s recommended to use a meat thermometer to check for doneness.
  8. Once the pork chops are cooked, remove them from the oven and cover the pan with foil. Allow the chops to rest for about 5 minutes. This will help the juices redistribute and keep the meat tender and juicy.
  9. Serve the pork loin chops hot, and you can spoon the pan drippings over the chops for added flavor. They pair well with roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a fresh salad.

Enjoy your deliciously cooked pork loin chops!
