STORAGE ADVICE To maintain the quality and flavors of your Steak and Stilton Pie, it is recommended to store it properly. If the pie is freshly baked, it is best to refrigerate it in an airtight container or wrap it tightly in plastic wrap. Stored in the refrigerator at a temperature of 40°F (4°C) or below, the pie can stay fresh for up to 3-4 days. Alternatively, if you have leftovers or want to store the pie for a longer period, you can freeze it. Wrap the pie securely in plastic wrap and aluminum foil or place it in a freezer-safe container. Frozen Steak and Stilton Pie can maintain its quality for up to 2-3 months. Thaw the pie in the refrigerator before reheating or consuming. To recycle the gel packs, simply cut a corner and dispose of the contents through your normal domestic waste system, as the gel isn’t harmful to the environment. Better still, reuse them by storing in the freezer and chilling other products. The only component from our packaging that can’t be recycled are the foil liners which need to be go in household waste; the poly bags meat comes in needs to go in plastic recycling.
