STORAGE ADVICE
To maintain the freshness and quality of Venison Diced, it is recommended to store it in the refrigerator at a temperature of 32°F to 40°F (0°C to 4°C). Keep the diced venison in its original packaging or transfer it to an airtight container or resealable plastic bag to prevent any potential cross-contamination or exposure to odors. Stored correctly, Venison Diced can be refrigerated for up to 2-3 days. If you wish to extend its shelf life, you can also freeze the diced venison. Wrap it tightly in plastic wrap or place it in a freezer-safe bag or container before placing it in the freezer. Frozen Venison Diced can maintain its quality for approximately 2-3 months. When ready to use, thaw the diced venison in the refrigerator before cooking for the best results.

Cooking Instructions for Venison Diced (for Pets):

  1. Gather the ingredients:
    • Venison diced (amount according to your pet’s portion size)
    • Water or low-sodium broth (optional)
  2. Preheat a non-stick skillet or a pot over medium heat.
  3. Add the diced venison to the skillet and cook it until it is browned on all sides. This usually takes around 5-7 minutes. Stir occasionally to ensure even cooking.
  4. If desired, you can add a small amount of water or low-sodium broth to the skillet to prevent the meat from sticking or drying out. This can help to keep the meat tender and moist.
  5. Continue cooking the venison until it reaches an internal temperature of at least 165°F (74°C). Cooking the meat thoroughly is essential to ensure food safety for your pet.
  6. Once the venison is fully cooked, remove it from the heat and let it cool down to a safe temperature before serving it to your pet. It’s important to avoid serving hot food to pets, as it may cause burns.
  7. Serve the cooked venison to your pet, either as a standalone meal or as a topper for their regular food. Ensure that the portion size is appropriate for your pet’s size and dietary needs.
  8. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Cooked venison can typically be refrigerated for up to 3-4 days. If you have a larger batch, you can also freeze individual portions for future use.

Remember, it’s always a good idea to consult with your veterinarian before introducing new foods into your pet’s diet, especially if they have any specific dietary requirements or health conditions.
