STORAGE ADVICE
To maintain the freshness and quality of Veal Osso Buco, it is recommended to store it in the refrigerator at a temperature of 32°F to 40°F (0°C to 4°C). Place the Osso Buco in an airtight container or wrap it tightly in plastic wrap to prevent any exposure to air or odors. Properly stored, Veal Osso Buco can be refrigerated for up to 2-3 days. If you wish to store it for a longer period, you can freeze the Osso Buco. Wrap it tightly in plastic wrap and aluminum foil or place it in a freezer-safe bag or container. Frozen Veal Osso Buco can maintain its quality for approximately 2-3 months. When ready to use, thaw the Osso Buco in the refrigerator before cooking.

Your item will arrive in a 100% recycled box lovingly packed with FSC-certified shredded spruce from Britain and Sweden, natural sheep’s wool insulation and non-toxic chilled gel packs, all of which can be reused, composted or recycled. To recycle the gel packs, simply cut a corner and dispose of the contents through your normal domestic waste system, as the gel isn’t harmful to the environment. Better still, reuse them by storing in the freezer and chilling other products. The only component from our packaging that can’t be recycled are the foil liners which need to be go in household waste; the poly bags meat comes in needs to go in plastic recycling.

To reheat and serve Veal Osso Buco, follow these simple instructions:

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. Transfer the Veal Osso Buco to an oven-safe dish or a baking sheet.
3. Cover the dish tightly with aluminum foil or a lid to prevent moisture loss and to keep the meat tender.
4. Place the dish in the preheated oven and let it heat for about 15-20 minutes, or until the veal is thoroughly heated.
5. While the veal is reheating, you can prepare any accompanying side dishes such as risotto, mashed potatoes, or polenta.
6. Once the Veal Osso Buco is heated through, remove it from the oven and carefully remove the foil or lid.
7. Serve the Veal Osso Buco with its sauce and garnish it with gremolata (a mixture of lemon zest, garlic, and parsley) for added flavor and freshness.
