STORAGE ADVICE
To maintain the freshness and quality of your Turkey Crown Bone Out Free Range, it is recommended to store it in the refrigerator at a temperature of 32°F to 40°F (0°C to 4°C). Place the turkey crown in its original packaging or transfer it to an airtight container or wrap it tightly in plastic wrap to prevent any exposure to air or potential cross-contamination. Stored correctly, the Turkey Crown Bone Out Free Range can be refrigerated for up to 2-3 days. If you need to store it for a longer period, you can also freeze the turkey crown. Wrap it tightly in plastic wrap and aluminum foil or place it in a freezer-safe bag or container. Frozen turkey crown can maintain its quality for approximately 2-3 months. Before cooking, make sure to thaw the turkey crown completely in the refrigerator.

Your item will arrive in a 100% recycled box lovingly packed with FSC-certified shredded spruce from Britain and Sweden, natural sheep’s wool insulation and non-toxic chilled gel packs, all of which can be reused, composted or recycled. To recycle the gel packs, simply cut a corner and dispose of the contents through your normal domestic waste system, as the gel isn’t harmful to the environment. Better still, reuse them by storing in the freezer and chilling other products. The only component from our packaging that can’t be recycled are the foil liners which need to be go in household waste; the poly bags meat comes in needs to go in plastic recycling.

Here’s cooking instruction for a Bone-Out Free Range Turkey Crown:

1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) or as specified on the packaging.
2. Remove the turkey crown from its packaging and pat it dry with paper towels.
3. Season the turkey crown with salt, pepper, and any desired herbs or spices. You can use a rub or simply sprinkle the seasoning directly onto the meat.
4. Place the turkey crown on a roasting rack in a roasting pan, with the skin side up. This will help the skin to crisp up.
5. Insert a meat thermometer into the thickest part of the turkey crown without touching the bone.
6. Place the roasting pan in the preheated oven and cook according to the weight of the turkey crown. As a general guideline, cook the turkey for about 20 minutes per pound (or 45 minutes per kilogram) of meat. However, it’s essential to follow the cooking instructions provided with your specific turkey crown.
7. Baste the turkey crown with its own juices every 30 minutes or so to keep it moist and flavorful.
8. When the internal temperature reaches 70°C (160°F), remove the turkey crown from the oven. Tent it loosely with aluminum foil and let it rest for about 15 minutes. The internal temperature will continue to rise during this time, reaching the recommended safe temperature of 75°C (165°F) for poultry.
9. After resting, carve the turkey crown into slices and serve it with your favorite side dishes.
