We love using stir fry strips in simple, healthy and quick wok dishes. Heat the wok until it’s just beginning to smoke, then add a light oil such as rapeseed or sunflower. Add the stir fry strips and stir quickly. Once the strips are beginning to brown, add in a mixture of chopped garlic, chilli and ginger. Next, quickly stir in soy sauce, into which you have added a large pinch of cornflour. Add spring onion, peppers and baby corn. Finally, stir in fresh egg noodles. This will give you a healthy, balanced and delicious meal in minutes.

Even the best meat still requires expert preparation, so we work with master butchers who ensure our stir fry strips are in perfect condition. They also use their experience to cut the pieces to uniform size. This is not merely to make them look pretty but also to ensure that they cook evenly. We go to this extra effort to maintain the premium quality you have come to expect from The Black Farmer.

We source local meat from farms in Wiltshire, Somerset and the South West. The Black Farmer makes sure that we get the absolute best and most sustainable breeds for the season. Our free range cows feed on grass and lead happy lives in the great British countryside. By working with local produce and farmers, we promote and encourage a sustainable and ethical approach to meat eating. This reduces animal stress and lowers food miles as much as possible.

Our lean beef stir fry strips are suitable for freezing at home. If you choose to freeze your meat, make sure to leave plenty of time for it to thaw properly.
