This smoked salmon is tasty and nutritious. A perfect snack, starter or main- it is so versatile often combined with cream cheese and lemon juice with a good twist of cracked black pepper.


Having been farmed in Scotland and smoked in a beautiful brick kiln, this smoked salmon is made with love. This delicious smoked salmon is perfect in a salad at lunchtime, with some eggs at breakfast time or in a pasta dish at dinner. It is full of omega-3 and has several health benefits  – oily fish like smoked salmon is known to promote a healthy heart.


It is also beneficial in helping to prevent asthma, high blood pressure, macular degeneration and rheumatoid arthritis. It may also support brain function. We’ve long been told that fish is ‘brain food’, and there’s convincing evidence to support this. It may also be anti-inflammatory. Oily fish plays an important role in dampening the effects of inflammation. Moreover, it may support healthy ageing. Salmon is a good source of protein, which is important for maintaining bone health, preventing muscle loss and helping the body heal and repair. Its rich astaxanthin content may help maintain skin elasticity, reduce the signs of ageing and protect the skin against UV damage.


Process of smoking salmon

To produce this outstanding smoked salmon, the skin is scored and cured with salt and brown sugar. It’s then left to cure for around 4-6 hours to remove moisture from the salmon before chilling for another 24 hours.

Chilling helps to give it a firmer texture. This combination of curing and chilling also promises an even smoked flavour throughout the salmon.

Once chilled, the salmon is cold smoked in traditional brick smokers at room temperature for 24-36 hours.

The smoked salmon is cooled again for at least 24 hours, in order to let all the oils settle.

After 3-4 days in care, the smoked salmon is ready for you to demolish!


All the salmon is farmed sustainably in Scotland.

Shelf life of this product is 19 days from date of delivery.
