DETAILS Introducing our finest tropical delight: Papaya from The Black Farmer! Immerse yourself in a burst of exotic flavors with our meticulously selected, premium-quality papayas. Grown with care and harvested at the peak of ripeness, our papayas bring the essence of sunny Caribbean islands right to your plate.
At The Black Farmer, we take pride in supporting sustainable and ethical farming practices. Our papayas are cultivated using environmentally friendly methods, ensuring the preservation of natural resources and the well-being of local communities. We believe in delivering not only exceptional flavor but also a conscious choice that aligns with your values.
STORAGE ADVICE To maximize the freshness and flavor of papayas, it’s essential to store them properly. Ripen papayas at room temperature until they yield slightly to gentle pressure. Once ripe, store them in the refrigerator to slow down the ripening process and extend their shelf life. Place uncut papayas in the crisper drawer to protect them from temperature fluctuations. If you’ve already cut the papaya, cover the exposed flesh with plastic wrap and refrigerate it in an airtight container. Remember that papayas are sensitive to ethylene, a natural gas that accelerates ripening, so keep them away from ethylene-producing fruits like apples and bananas. Proper storage ensures that you can enjoy the sweet and tropical taste of papayas for an extended period.
