Our traditional smoking process, using oak wood, infuses the ham with a delightful smokiness that perfectly complements the natural sweetness of the meat. Sliced to perfection, our Oak Smoked Ham is tender, juicy, and full of flavor, making it a versatile choice for sandwiches, charcuterie boards, or as a centerpiece for your favorite recipes.
STORAGE ADVICE
To maintain the optimal flavor and quality of Oak Smoked Ham, it is recommended to store it in the refrigerator at a temperature of 32°F to 40°F (0°C to 4°C). Keep the ham in its original packaging or transfer it to an airtight container or resealable plastic bag to prevent any exposure to air or odors. Properly stored, Oak Smoked Ham can retain its freshness for up to 5-7 days. If you wish to extend its shelf life, you can also freeze the ham. Wrap it tightly in plastic wrap or aluminum foil and place it in a freezer-safe container or bag. Frozen Oak Smoked Ham can maintain its quality for approximately 2-3 months. This pack contains 4-6 pieces.
Your item will arrive in a 100% recycled box lovingly packed with FSC-certified shredded spruce from Britain and Sweden, natural sheep’s wool insulation and non-toxic chilled gel packs, all of which can be reused, composted or recycled. To recycle the gel packs, simply cut a corner and dispose of the contents through your normal domestic waste system, as the gel isn’t harmful to the environment. Better still, reuse them by storing in the freezer and chilling other products. The only component from our packaging that can’t be recycled are the foil liners which need to be go in household waste; the poly bags meat comes in needs to go in plastic recycling.

Here’s cooking instruction for Oak Smoked Ham:
1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
2. Remove any packaging or netting from the smoked ham.
3. Place the ham in a roasting pan or baking dish, making sure it fits comfortably without being too crowded.
4. Score the surface of the ham with a sharp knife in a crisscross pattern. This helps the flavors penetrate and allows for even cooking.
5. If desired, you can glaze the ham with a mixture of brown sugar, mustard, and spices. Brush the glaze evenly over the surface of the ham.
6. Cover the roasting pan with aluminum foil, ensuring it’s tightly sealed to keep the moisture inside.
7. Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for about 15 to 20 minutes per pound (30 to 45 minutes per kilogram) of ham. A meat thermometer inserted into the thickest part of the ham should read 145°F (63°C) when done.
8. Halfway through the cooking time, remove the foil to allow the ham to brown and develop a delicious crust.
9. Once the ham reaches the desired temperature, remove it from the oven and let it rest for about 15 minutes before slicing.
10. Carve the ham into thin slices and serve hot.
