Lypiatt (125g)


Fresh, charcoaled, mould ripened cheese made with Jersey cows’ milk.  The ash rind is slightly citrussy, and has a buttery quality courtesy of the Jersey herd.

It is good to keep it in the fridge wrapped in its packaging.

This was one of the famous ‘lockdown cheeses’ featured on the BBC’s Saturday Kitchen on 1st May 2021.  “Cook with it- do anything with it.” It went down extremely well and was termed ‘a good, giant, Baby Bel!’.


Bring it up to room temperature before serving. Generally speaking it has a month shelf life.
