STORAGE ADVICE
To maintain the freshness and quality of Lamb Breast Bone In, it is recommended to store it in the refrigerator at a temperature of 32°F to 40°F (0°C to 4°C). Ensure that the lamb breast is properly wrapped in plastic wrap or stored in an airtight container to prevent any exposure to air or odors. Stored correctly, the Lamb Breast Bone In can maintain its freshness for up to 2-3 days. If you wish to store it for a longer period, you can also freeze the lamb breast. Wrap it tightly in plastic wrap and aluminum foil or place it in a freezer-safe bag or container. Frozen Lamb Breast Bone In can retain its quality for approximately 2-3 months. When ready to use, thaw the lamb breast in the refrigerator before cooking for the best results.

Better still, reuse them by storing in the freezer and chilling other products. The only component from our packaging that can’t be recycled are the foil liners which need to be go in household waste; the poly bags meat comes in needs to go in plastic recycling.

Here’s cooking instruction for Lamb Breast Bone-In:

1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C).
2. Take the lamb breast and pat it dry with paper towels. This helps to remove any excess moisture and ensures better browning.
3. Season the lamb breast generously with salt, pepper, and any other desired herbs or spices. You can use a combination of rosemary, thyme, garlic powder, or any other seasonings you prefer.
4. Heat a large oven-safe skillet or roasting pan over medium-high heat. Add a small amount of oil or butter to the pan.
5. Place the lamb breast, fat side down, in the hot skillet. Sear it for about 4-5 minutes until it develops a nice brown crust.
6. Flip the lamb breast over so that the fat side is facing up. If you’re using a roasting pan, transfer the seared lamb to it.
7. Place the skillet or roasting pan with the lamb breast in the preheated oven. Cook for approximately 2-3 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Keep in mind that cooking times may vary depending on the size and thickness of the lamb breast.
8. Once cooked, remove the lamb breast from the oven and let it rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing. This allows the juices to redistribute, resulting in a more tender and flavorful meat.
9. Slice the lamb breast against the grain into desired portions. Serve it with your favorite side dishes, such as roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a fresh salad.
