There is very little this great, traditional ham cannot do – the perfect centrepiece in a roast dinner, alongside potatoes, roasted veggies and your favourite gravy, or in a tasty and loaded sandwich, or even in a salad… its versatility knows no end! The delightful sweetness of the honey wonderfully complements the meaty texture of the ham, creating a flavoursome and delightful delicacy perfect for filling a baguette.
- Preheat oven to 170ºC (150ºC fan). Place ham on a roasting rack set in a roasting pan and diagonally score. Cover with foil and bake until warmed throughout, 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
- Remove ham from oven and let rest 15 minutes, then transfer to a serving platter with apples and thyme
