Cooking instruction for Beef Fillet:
1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
2. Season the beef fillet with salt and pepper or your preferred seasoning.
3. Heat a large oven-safe skillet or frying pan over high heat.
4. Add a small amount of oil to the pan and sear the beef fillet on all sides until nicely browned. This should take about 2 minutes per side.
5. Once seared, transfer the skillet or pan with the beef fillet to the preheated oven.
6. Roast the fillet in the oven for about 15-20 minutes for medium-rare doneness or adjust the cooking time according to your desired level of doneness. Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature. For medium-rare, aim for an internal temperature of around 135°F (57°C).
7. Once cooked to your desired doneness, remove the fillet from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes to allow the juices to redistribute.
8. Slice the beef fillet into thick slices and serve it with your choice of sides, such as roasted vegetables or mashed potatoes.
Remember, cooking times may vary depending on the thickness of the beef fillet, so it’s always a good idea to use a meat thermometer to ensure it reaches your preferred level of doneness.
