STORAGE ADVICE
To preserve the freshness and quality of the Beef Fillet, proper storage is crucial. It is recommended to keep the bag of beef fillet in the refrigerator at a temperature below 40°F (4°C). Ensure that the bag is tightly sealed to prevent any exposure to air or potential cross-contamination. When stored correctly, the beef fillet can maintain its freshness for up to 2-3 days. If you don’t plan to use it within that time frame, it is advisable to freeze the beef fillet.
PACKAGING
This pack contains 1 piece.
Your item will arrive in a 100% recycled box lovingly packed with FSC-certified shredded spruce from Britain and Sweden, natural sheep’s wool insulation and non-toxic chilled gel packs, all of which can be reused, composted or recycled. To recycle the gel packs, simply cut a corner and dispose of the contents through your normal domestic waste system, as the gel isn’t harmful to the environment. Better still, reuse them by storing in the freezer and chilling other products. The only component from our packaging that can’t be recycled are the foil liners which need to be go in household waste; the poly bags meat comes in needs to go in plastic recycling.

Cooking instruction for Beef Fillet:
1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
2. Season the beef fillet with salt and pepper or your preferred seasoning.
3. Heat a large oven-safe skillet or frying pan over high heat.
4. Add a small amount of oil to the pan and sear the beef fillet on all sides until nicely browned. This should take about 2 minutes per side.
5. Once seared, transfer the skillet or pan with the beef fillet to the preheated oven.
6. Roast the fillet in the oven for about 15-20 minutes for medium-rare doneness or adjust the cooking time according to your desired level of doneness. Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature. For medium-rare, aim for an internal temperature of around 135°F (57°C).
7. Once cooked to your desired doneness, remove the fillet from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes to allow the juices to redistribute.
8. Slice the beef fillet into thick slices and serve it with your choice of sides, such as roasted vegetables or mashed potatoes.

Remember, cooking times may vary depending on the thickness of the beef fillet, so it’s always a good idea to use a meat thermometer to ensure it reaches your preferred level of doneness.
